feel protected

I bought these after a bad accident where my foot was caught between the pedal and a large root at high speed. Luckily I didn't break anything, but it took a long time for my toes and metatarsal bones to be bruised and healed. Previous 510s were more comfortable and had better pedal feel, but I feel a lot better on them going downhill, especially after a few rides where the soles sagged a bit. There were no pedal slips on several full days in the bike park. I ride them with OneUp platforms on a long travel DH bike.

Pros
  • The shoe has a unique shockproof outsole that absorbs shock and vibration. This reduces fatigue and increases overall comfort on the bike.
Cons
  • Limited sizes available making it difficult to find the perfect fit.
