Works fantastic!: Welding and Soldering

I mainly use this little flashlight for a tiny heat gun, which came as a big surprise to me. It works so well on small spots and for heating the wax vial to a smooth finish. The only downside is that it is difficult to light the burner. It only runs 50% of the time. The fuse also sticks making it difficult to light (why this feature is needed I don't know). Still, I really like this little flashlight. ------ Overview changed. Below are some fixes if you are having the same issues starting a flame with the mini heat gun feature. Use high-quality butane according to the manufacturer's instructions. My problem didn't appear here, read on. How to activate the heat gun function 100% of the time. Gently pull the trigger until you hear gas hiss, then slowly pull the trigger until you hear the igniter click. This gives the tiny chamber enough time to fill with enough gas to ignite each time. The same goes for the lamp itself. Don't press the button, touch it with a light touch and it will light up every time. Thus, the verification turns out to be user error. The thumb lock on mine was stuck and I fiddled with it after a sales rep contacted me. I tried lighting the burner with one hand and there was a slight click and now the thumb switch works fine. I assume it shines a bit on the plastic? However, it works smoothly in both the right and left hands without any problems. I will change my rating to 5 stars. Great little flashlight.
