Review on Complete Tractor 1106 6197 Compatible Replacement by Frank Dubey

Good - it had a gasket and the bolt holes lined up properly with the engine block. The screw holes were not as deep as the original. I would have had to buy some new mounting bolts to bolt to the cylinder block and the outside clearances to other components might not be enough. More importantly, it turned out that the interior of the thermostat housing was never machined after casting. I was put off by the fact that the original part was cast aluminum and this one was cast iron, but all the replacement parts I found turned out to be cast iron. Revain accepted my return and I was able to locate an OEM aluminum casting through a New Holland dealer.
