The only thing that interested me about the table warmer was that it didn't shut off intermittently. I was lucky to find it the first time! I leave it on low (but it doesn't turn off on medium or high either). The only one that turns off is if you leave it on the thermostat setting. In this case, it turns off when the ambient air reaches that temperature. But if like me you like to keep your feet and legs warm in the office all the time, this is PERFECT! It's pretty quiet, although you can hear it. But it doesn't stand out. However, it actually raises the temperature throughout the room. So if there are people around you who don't like it, maybe keep that in mind. I love this heater. He looks great too!
