This charger does not fit my iPhone 11ProMax with the new Otterbox Defender case so I will be returning both chargers I bought. The description on the website states that it will charge through a case less than 5mm thick. My Otterbox Defender case is 4.07mm thick (including the rubber and hard case) according to my micrometer, but no charger could charge it with the case on. I also question the quality of the charger as one charger didn't work for everything unless I completely removed the case and just used bare metal. The other charger only worked once with the case but refused to charge after that until I removed the outer rubber cover. Before that I bought several other cheaper chargers that were incompatible with the case or had parts of the case removed. In any case, the charger worked fine once or twice and then stopped working as advertised unless I removed part or all of the case. I have returned these chargers and will not be keeping them given the inconsistent results with these chargers. I've thrown them off my bedside table more times than I care to count, so I don't want to risk removing some or all of the protection needed just to charge my phone. Also for those using the Otterbox Defender case I can confirm that the rubber will wear and stretch over time. So if you remove the rubber strap one or more times a day to charge your phone, you'll likely need to replace the case more frequently, which is expensive (environmentally and financially). So unfortunately I'm going back to my old stand which used charging cables. I wish these chargers would work for me as they would save me the hassle of cables, but I choose protection for my phone over simplicity. I liked the idea, but it doesn't work in my case.
