This is exactly what I needed. Before that I bought an "LED vanity mirror light for vanity mirrors" and saved on a dimmer. Well the light was too bright and I wanted to dim it. I contacted the seller who sent me a link to this dimmer. Receive a package WITH INSTRUCTIONS and follow the instructions. Dinner preparation was very simple and easy. It took me about 3 minutes to install them. The instructions are in diagram form and very easy to follow in my opinion with a very basic understanding of electrification/cables. I believe that people who complain about this product probably bought the wrong item and instead of blaming themselves they blame the product/seller. You will need a small flat Phillips screwdriver for installation. Adhesive tape (double-sided) for lateral attachment of the dimmer to the mirror. Just make sure you place it where you can reach it easily and make sure the cable has enough slack for the moving parts.
