I was in dire need of a new salad bowl after my old one broke. The old one I had was the XO brand which was not only more expensive but also smaller in diameter and what I didn't like the most was that my old one had a hand pump that manually rotated the lettuce at a certain speed . My old one couldn't run any faster than it was rated for the pump that came with it. Fast forward to this salad spinner right here, I love that it has a spinner that can spin really really fast and dry lettuce with such better efficiency! It's also a lot bigger which is fantastic for my large green eating family. When I'm lazy, I also use the clear bowl as a salad bowl when I'm tired from work. The bonus item was an added plus but the product itself is outstanding. Happy salad!
