If you don't mind the price, I think ASICS is a great overall running shoe. If you're looking for running shoes, do yourself a favor and grab some of the best in the business. I would compare them to Brooks running shoes. ASICS is about half a size smaller than my regular training shoes, I believe this is standard on all ASICS so I recommend at least half a size up (even for running shoes they should be larger than they are snug on your legs to allow for flexibility and Swelling). The colors are really FAVORITE on this product, the red is a bolder blood red and the photos I have provided show a better representation of the color than the product photo I feel. The gel on the side is almost too comfortable on the inside, but you can still feel the overall responsive support from the base, it's probably the softest feeling of any shoe I've worn. My build is a stocky male 5ft 6in and about 250 pounds. I'm a powerlifter and hate cardio, so I need quality shoes to jog for long periods of time without additional discomfort from heel, knee, and back injuries. This shoe delivers, buy with confidence when you are looking for quality running shoes.
