So this works for Pavilion x360 14-ba0xx model. Bought for a friend, can't imagine how difficult it would be to draw without a capacitive touchscreen because they keep zooming in and out. It's very different from normal painting, I think due to the nature of pixels you have to draw a lot and scale it down or have high resolution if you want something to look smooth. Krita is a good free drawing program that they started with and it takes hours to get something right even if you're just tracing something from anime, which is a good way to get used to the pen and your program. If you want to annotate it, that's fine, and it's easy to draw arrows on the lecture outlines and slides I was told.
