I bought this mini waffle iron to make chaffles. It doesn't get hot enough, as there is no temperature control. I just use my old waffle iron which works just fiine.The seller saw my review and contacted me to see what they could do to make me happy. I told them that it didn't make the chaffles correctly and that is what I bought it for. I said I didn't think it was worth returning since the shipping would be about as much as the refund.They offered (and have now processed) a refund without returning the waffle maker. Maybe the waffle iron isn't perfect but their customer service is.We tried it with normal waffle batter and it makes a nice soft waffle. We prefer crispy waffles but if you like normal soft waffles then this will give you what you want.
