Welds are strong but cleaning is a bit overkill. Have anti-glare product, jackhammer and brush ready. Metal builds up on your tips very quickly. Splashes are definitely a problem. Tried multiple speeds, AC and still get excessive spatter. Switched from a Lincoln .30 that barely spattered.
