I use this aquarium for Artemia (just for fun, not as a food source) so I didn't use the filter that came with it as I have one special sponge filter to keep them safe. The rest of the pool is great so far. I've had no issues with shipping damage and have had no issues with leaks. light is good. It illuminates the aquarium with more natural light than my old aquarium and light. There is a hole at the top through which you can put food. In general I am satisfied with the tank. It sits on my desk to watch the shrimp while I work and looks great. It's a bit pricey but if you look at other tanks of this size it might even be one of the cheapest so I have to say it's good value for money.
