Review on 32oz Venture Pal Motivational Water Bottle with Time Marker & Removable Strainer - Fast Flow BPA Free Spill Proof Water Jug, Encouraging Hydration by Juan Lockwood

I bought this water bottle about 6 weeks ago and have used it very little. I think I bought it because it was on sale and the caps on all my Nalgene bottles finally came off after 5-10 years of constant use and the cat chewed on the plastic part that attaches the cap to the bottle whenever it did saw an opportunity. The quality does not come close to Nalgene or any other water bottle I have purchased. I dropped it once from a height of 3-4 feet and even though it fell on the carpet there was a bulge in the middle of the floor right where the bulging line of plastic was and now it's dripping from there, although the plastic did not break and fell on its side. Even if it doesn't leak, the bulge means it no longer lies flat on the bottom, so it can't stand up. From the way it's bulging out, it looks like this was either defective or there was a design flaw. Even without this problem I would not buy it again. I don't care about motivational slogans and I don't like the strap as a carrying handle. I also saw that I can buy replacement caps for my Nalgene bottles and I love this design. I've had some of these for probably 10 years and dropped them onto hard surfaces many times with no damage.
