This bag is not suitable for transporting a cold wine bottle. First, even with a thin bottle, ice cubes won't fit around a bottle in a bag. Regular ice cubes only fit on one side of the bottle, making the bag list one page. This makes the bag easy to fall off and everything will fall apart as it is open at the top. It might work if you take it to the neighbor's house, but not in the car!
