I tried another brand of LED headlights (high, low and fog) that seem to be popular at Revain and they didn't work on my truck (2020 F -150 STX). They didn't turn on at all. I studied different brands and before giving up I decided to try the Alla brand. In short, they all worked well. The brightness is exceptional and significantly better than the standard halogen originals, but I'm pretty sure I'm not burning the retinas of oncoming drivers. I wanted something brighter than the original halogen, but I didn't want to be an idiot whose light is so bright it blinds oncoming traffic. In the end, the amount of light is exactly what I was hoping for. Installation was a little tricky (about 2.5-3 hours for 6 bulbs, 3 on each side) but that's a Ford design feature, not LED. Assembly. I've seen a video of the tire being fitted without removing the tire, but I don't see how realistic this is for anything other than fog lights, which are physically the lowest of the three bulbs. Aligning the lamp requires some thought (e.g. you need to rotate, align and lock the lamp holder ring before inserting it into the holder. If you don't know, you have to pull the lamp and reorient it). , and reinstall it. It's easy, but it can be difficult. Once installed, all of the wires fit easily into the light cavity, so I can easily swap out the Ford rubber grommets. The build quality feels solid and solid, and I didn't feel like they (or the wires) would break in my hand when I applied torque to snap them into place.
