Review on PunPun Double Wall Insulated Glass Espresso Cups: Set Of 2 Demitasse And Iced Coffee Cups by Aaron Richardson

I have used double walled borosilicate glass mugs for years, but it’s rare to find ones that are solid enough to last… these are! Not being familiar with this company, I decided to take a chance since I like their designs. It’s the little things that matter, and on these, I liked the curve in the middle of the glass. It takes them out of the sameness that you can find everywhere.Now, for the quality. I was stunned when I took them out of the (very well packaged) box. They are thick; heavier than I would expect from this type of glass, and beautifully made. (Check out the thickness of the rims!) Add to that the reasonable price point, and you have a winner! The addition of the coasters is smart (and they are cute and bright). You don’t have to worry any longer about setting them down on a hard surface.I typically use 16 oz mugs. These hold 12 oz. as advertised, and are large enough for a good sized cup of coffee with cream. And, they look great, are easy to hold and a pleasure to drink from. And, they have a good sized well designed handle.I waited to run them through the dishwasher before writing this review. They came out fine on the top shelf with drying heat on. If I see any issues, I will update this review, but I don’t expect I will. With proper care, these should last a long time.Thinking of treating yourself? Don’t hesitate. I’m going to purchase a couple of their other unusual designs (and, more of these beauties!). What can I say? I’m a fan!Enjoy!
