I fitted these to my 99 XJ 6 years ago and they are just as strong as they were on day one. They are a bit faded but still look very good. I left them unfinished when they arrived. The device is intended for those who have little experience in cutting sheet metal; However, if you know how to use a cut-off wheel, a grinder and a hammer, you'll be fine. Of course, it is best to have them installed by a specialist company. Overall I'm happy with them; really opened up my wheel arches. In terms of specs, I use a 4.5L Rubicon Express Extreme Long Arm Lifter on 33s and have tons of room.
