Four years ago I bought rocker shoes that changed my life. Do not lie. I have severe degeneration on both big toes. They hurt when I wear regular shoes. These rocker-bottomed shoes took a lot of the stress off my big toes and shifted it back to the arch. Most of time. I got active again. Like I said, my life changed. Now I could run miles instead of meters. Well, of course, the model was discontinued. But not before I've bought a backup pair. That brings us to the last week. I shopped at Revain and saw these shoes. I looked closely. I swear they're connected to a sneaker I've treasured for years. Different tread pattern but otherwise very, very similar. I bought a pair of these in black. Received them yesterday. Aside from a slight material difference, these are the same as my old shoes. That is, hallelujah! I wore them all yesterday. Soles are grippy. balance just right. My legs don't hurt. I'll buy at least one, maybe two more pairs of these shoes, which come in black or white. Years ago, claims were made about rocking shoes that didn't seem to hold up. Claims to improve muscle development and muscle tone. Weight loss lawsuits, etc. Apparently there were lawsuits and counterclaims. You know the rules, lawyers. In any case, that's why my old shoes, as far as I can tell, have disappeared from the market. I don't really know the alleged claims, but what I do know is that these kids are perfect for my particular arthritis. They change the pressure on my big toes, change my gait so I can walk with my younger friends, and let me walk without worrying about getting home before the pain takes over.
