Review on πŸ”₯ Vargo Fire Box Grill, Titanium: The Ultimate Campfire Cooking Companion by Jacob Ashman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Less than expected.

This thing is light, really light, much lighter than the box it came in. At the same time, it is not only light because of titanium, but also because it is so small. I should have looked at the pictures but like many people I've looked at an 8 x 8 grid while the base is much smaller. I plan to use it for cross country biking and I plan to stop by grocery stores along the way and buy food to make meals. I think you should be able to use larger diameter sticks so you can burn them into good coals. Add a small potato wrapped in aluminum foil and after the steak has browned a bit, toss it on top. An 8 inch grill is enough and you won't mess up the pan by just grilling on it. The grill is quite thin and you have to be very careful with it. I'll have a chance to try it out and post an update when I do.
