Nice little grill, good for camping and hiking

I love everything except how to add wood when it's burning. I would design the door and hinge on the side for that purpose, but overall a good little grill.

Origami Grill in Stoves and Grills

Great hiking grill for one person. Tough enough to cook up a fatty steak in the country and versatile enough to take with you on your next multi-day fishing trip. Super light and super compact grill that works well with charcoal and alcohol stoves.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Useless features

One of the best mini grills I've ever had!

Consider taking a bike ride, along the way you can stop, grab some coals (I use 8) and have a BBQ! Then carefully fold the weight like a grill and put it in a small backpack or bag in my suitcase. I have found Titan handles dirt very well after grilling. Don't scrub it too hard, just roast it, next time the heat burns it all down, just shake it and it's clean!

I like that it can be carried in a jacket pocket.

Pro: It's tiny, very light and very portable, about the size of a regular carrying case envelope (albeit a bit thicker). I liked that it can be carried in a jacket pocket or even on pants if a pocket is deep enough. Can be used to quickly heat something with twigs and small branches. Easy cleaning. Cons: Slightly more expensive but made out of titanium so with proper care it will last a lifetime so use often.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Volume

Less than expected.

This thing is light, really light, much lighter than the box it came in. At the same time, it is not only light because of titanium, but also because it is so small. I should have looked at the pictures but like many people I've looked at an 8 x 8 grid while the base is much smaller. I plan to use it for cross country biking and I plan to stop by grocery stores along the way and buy food to make meals. I think you should be able to use larger diameter sticks so you can burn them into good…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Reliability

Titanium Collapsible Charcoal Fire Pit with Alternative Offers

I bought this particular fire pit in the stainless steel version but decided it wasn't for me and returned it for a refund. Here's my review so you can decide if it works for you. It's not for everyone. I love my other Vargo products and this one is well made and designed. All folding parts move as they should. Developed for coal briquettes. You can burn wood in it too, but if you want a wood-burning camp stove, there are MUCH better specialized designs (Emberlit Series, Collapsible Firebox…
