Titanium Collapsible Charcoal Fire Pit with Alternative Offers

I bought this particular fire pit in the stainless steel version but decided it wasn't for me and returned it for a refund. Here's my review so you can decide if it works for you. It's not for everyone. I love my other Vargo products and this one is well made and designed. All folding parts move as they should. Developed for coal briquettes. You can burn wood in it too, but if you want a wood-burning camp stove, there are MUCH better specialized designs (Emberlit Series, Collapsible Firebox, and Bushbox Series). So you have a charcoal briquette burner that is breaking down. and folds flat. It will be covered in coal dust and charcoal, so be sure to seal it in some strong plastic bags after use. Many folding surfaces are difficult to brush and brush. The sides are not designed to absorb coal dust, so it is inconvenient to use. You can use it on the beach but not on a boat or in a tailgate. Let's face it, there are better, more compact and more efficient charcoal briquette burners out there. Any WalMart and Dollar Store to chill out sells $5-$10 traditional flat grill kits that are cheaper, more convenient, easier, and more portable than this over-the-top Vargo design. And for that matter, you can improvise something just as effective. like this Dollar Store Vargo cooking grate and some crazy bricks. Or a hole in the sand covered with aluminum foil. Here's what I came up with and why I returned mine for a refund. We have an overly complex and over-engineered $50 device that basically duplicates what you can already buy anywhere for $5. Price tag, and for some reason you don't want to buy a really great folding Emberlit or Firebox or Bushbox briquette wood burning stove, then this Vargo product might be worth your time. But to be honest, for every possible camping scenario I can think of, the other folding stoves I just mentioned would be really excellent and more satisfying choices. This block in the Titanium version is currently available for $80. It's also available in a stainless steel model for $50. So we're talking a price of $50-$80 to replace a standard $5 briquette grill. If you really like this design, you can try the $39 quick grill here at Revain, also made of stainless steel but with some design advantages over this Vargo (and cheaper). This is my review and my experience. I hope this saves someone time and/or money and hope it's helpful. Check out the other stoves I've mentioned, each of them are great for briquettes or firewood. Happy trails!
