Ready to use, no drivers required and Windows 10 easily recognizes the hub when plugged in. I plugged in my old HP printer and Windows saw it right away. Performance hasn't deteriorated. Windows also immediately recognized all USB data drives. So it's true plug and play on a laptop running Windows 10 version 21H1!
