This pet nail grinder is everything the company says it is. It's extremely quiet, gentle on the pet, and most of all, safe. My little Pomeranian is still acclimating to it, but I managed to get two of her nails done. I look forward to using this regularly and will happily throw my pet nail trimmers away.I found that very little pressure is needed to actually start grinding away at the nail. If too much pressure is applied, then it becomes uncomfortable and too warm for the pet. Be sure to lavish your pet with praise and treats, even after just a second of grinding their nails. Also, it's better to stop the session when your pet is still comfortable with it than wait until they begin to fight you and are scared. I've found that it's better to get only two nails done than to lose her trust in the long run.
