I received this as the only retractable screen projector I could find that met my needs at a reasonable price for a short throw projector. I didn't want to spend money on a retractable or motorized screen. The screen works well in my environment, put it in the living room. This is the SRM version mainly because they make many models with screens of different materials and sizes, but for some reason you can only get certain sizes with certain features. If you want a 120-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, you have to look at specific models. If you want the 16:10 format, you need to look at different models. Most sizes are not available for many screen types. I wanted to be a little bigger but there weren't any sizes for the hard lining that I wanted. I'd also like a different surface material, but you're limited in combinations by the type of screen you choose. SRM looks like it could pause at any time and leave the screen halfway up, but it always works, so I guess that's how it works. When I tried to track it I found it would not be delivered unless I made an appointment. I went online and there were no appointments available in my area. I went back and forth through Revain's contact mechanism and finally figured it out. At first I told them that if it came without me being there they could just drop me off and it seemed to be agreed but the actual carrier disagreed. Finally made an appointment and delivered. This would not have been an issue if I had been informed at the time of purchase that a shipping destination was required and given a mechanism to do so, rather than being told after shipping that I must do so. The rest of the process went well. Overall I'm happy with the screen and would recommend it for home use as a short throw projector in a dark room, but this can be a limitation of my projector. I don't know how to use the ultra-short-throw model, and I would turn to the experts on that matter. Obviously with a standard projector there shouldn't be a problem.
