Bought 3 times for cooking within 1 year. Worth every penny. It came whole, chipless and very quickly. I love that you can buy sealed lids (Pyrex No-Leak Lids 3 Cup) and replacement lids if needed. UPDATE: A year later they are still working great and none of the original red caps have been torn, worn or deformed from microwave heating. I use them every week for weekly meal prep: bake, chill, freeze, thaw with the original red lid, then reheat without the lid). I write directly on the contents/date jar side with a sharpie marker before storing as it wipes clean with a washcloth and soapy water eliminating the need for freeze tape or labels. I bought airtight lids so when I take them with me I replace the red lids with ones that will drip into my bag. The size is perfect for an 8 serving half casserole recipe.
