I was hoping to use them for the wedding I'm going to but they are too thin so they fade into the distance which is not good for photos. But what ultimately made me drop them was the large plastic/silicone ends on the earring. If you don't have them, the hanging ends are like sharp little dots, but when you tighten them, it looks pretty blunt. The ends need to be a bit pointy I suppose to go through the ear, but that just made them a bit awkward otherwise you had to worry about cutting yourself. Basically, I just didn't get it.
