loud and great sound when used with preamp

I got this amp to run headless, the built in line converter seemed just right to run straight from my phone but to be honest the sound was weaker than expected - great Quality but quiet in combination with (current moment) 2 speakers Infinity KAPPA 682.11cf. I went a little further and got a Massive Audio EQ-7 and WOW what an amazing difference! Super loud and still sounds great! These 2 Massive products together are a great combo if you don't need a main unit like me.
