After looking at step 6 in the diagram, I thought it was a push type. However, they still work and have proven to be more compatible with my Commercial Electric crimping tool which I find cannot crimp other brands of Cat 6 connectors such as the iTBebe brand. 3 stars for wrong image for step 6. Pretty good otherwise.
