Review on 🔒 Schlage F40 V LAT 619 Latitude Bed & Bath Privacy Lever Lock in Nickel by Robert Correa

We ordered a lever with a key from amazon.com. In terms of construction, the key lever has an L-shaped lever bar with a short rod attached to the key cylinder, which is nice, but unlike the other pass, dummy, secret levers that don't have that extra detail, so less beautiful, are just simpler. That. but as soon as we installed it on one of our doors, we immediately noticed that the lever sags 3-5 degrees to the south. And swaying up and down before twisting it down to open. The original packaging was NOT sealed. Just an open brown box with white paper wrapped around the levers, the levers were no longer protected from possible road scratches. Technician Schlage said not to buy this brown bag as it would only be used for parts and spares in my own after sales depot. A wobbly, sagging lever is definitely a defect. They offered to replace it but I insisted we send it back to Revain.com. If the brown box isn't sealed, no doubt it's good to open the lever, inspect it and return it if you don't like it. But if you intend to keep the product, everyone will wonder if they received a refurbished product. We're sending these back, but will definitely get new ones.
