I was very hesitant when I first bought it. This was because they are so cheap and good quality LEDs are usually much more expensive. I have been driving in the dark for 3 years now and have decided to repair the parking lights on my 03 Ranger and replace them with long life LED bulbs. At the same time I upgraded my dome light and license plate light, as you can see they are very bright. The dome light easily illuminates my entire cabin and only has one bulb. Simple direct replacement of old lamps. I'll update the shelf life info in a few months, but I'm less skeptical after seeing how good these theses look!
