Perfect for what you have. I have a large 264AB that I use for large telephoto, astro, and other landscape photography, but most of the time when I'm in town, hiking in the woods, or backpacking, 5.5 pounds means I leave his home. . I often climb and walk 65-80 miles in just a few days in the mountains and every gram counts. Highly recommended as a camping tripod or lightweight for hiking.
