This kit is well worth the price. It has everything you need and enough tinsel to use multiple times. If you have short hair, you can split the strands in half and get even MORE. There are no instructions included but I watched a 40 second YouTube video and figured it out. I've made several within half an hour of opening the package. I've also tried the bun method but it doesn't seem to work on my hair. Can't comment on heat resistance as I don't use heat on my hair, but I can say I've washed my hair, combed it a few times and styled it twice and everything stayed in place. It only comes with brown beads, which suits me, but that's something to consider if you have a different hair color.
