Most LED strips are simply glued on with built-in glue. They are different, they come with small metal mounting plates and screws. You screw the metal plates onto whatever you want to mount and then snap the strips into place. Pros: It is very easy to connect the sticks together, just insert the ends of one into the other. You can make one very long continuous stick with no wires, or several short ones connected with wires from the kit. Sticks securely to surfaces where glue won't work. Very bright and with a good warm color temperature. Not super duper white. Cons: They don't come with glue if you plan on using glue. However, you can use the command bars. The cables for connecting the lights have a fixed length. It would be a lot more versatile if they added a few longer/shorter connectors. I had to cut one of mine and spliced longer wires to get the look I wanted. The box with the switch is a bit big. It's hard to find a good place to hide it.
