When you stop at a pattern, the pattern stops too. Cons: You cannot stop it on a pattern and move that pattern. It only has one color. I got it not long ago so I don't know how durable it is, but the transformer doesn't appear to be waterproof. The cable is long but not long enough. I still need to use an extension cord.
