This product works great if you follow a few simple rules. First, if you can't stick your finger in melted chocolate without burning it, then it's too hot to shape! Let the melted chocolate sit at lukewarm/room temperature so the mold doesn't melt. Quite easy! To alleviate the problem of hardened chocolate not popping out of the mold easily, I lined the mold with cling film before pouring the melted chocolate. Once the chocolate has hardened in the fridge, it pops out easily when you peel off the cling film. I have found that there are no issues with the shaver by following these steps. Happy baking!
