I wanted it to work, I really did. But unfortunately, it failed to cope with one of its key functions. And that turned out to be a design flaw, not a problem with the individual product. This is a wide refill opening. The good first: The balloon itself: big, strong, reliable. The tube worked exactly as it should. The bite valve does exactly what it's supposed to do. Price: very competitive. But it's a big hole... The problem seems to be the threads on the lid and the hole they are designed to screw into. They are very flat and I could never line them up properly. Given the circumstances in which a person needs to fill or refill their bladder, it SHOULD be easy, not difficult. In my case I was on a 38 mile hike in the desert, I tried using it in the field some of which were at night. Not once when I refilled it was I able to successfully insert the screws into the hole. I had no choice but to fill it about two-thirds full so it wouldn't spill. Even then, my back got wet. Luckily I was in the desert and in the heat so a wet back wasn't dangerous. But I also walk and run a lot in the snow. So I could not and will not rely on this product.
