My MIL likes to leave the door open to air dry dishes, but then the open door interferes with passage through the kitchen. With the door fully closed, the dishwasher would often turn on accidentally when leaning against the counter to reach the cabinets above, and because it ran so quietly, it often went unnoticed until it reached the middle of the cleaning cycle. It was a simple solution to both of these problems. We can now open the door without blocking the passageway to allow dishes to air dry, which my MIL prefers, and the machine no longer accidentally turns on when leaning on the rack. We are 110% satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for something similar.
