Whilst this is a nice unit and I would like it to work, the website says it will fit TVs up to 55". I do not recommend using this device for a 55 inch TV. I think up to 48" would be fine, but due to the design of the product, a 55" TV could easily fall off this stand. The triangular ends are much sharper. then they are presented on the web and the area for the tv feet at the end is very small. I would only recommend this tv stand if your tv has a center stand and not the feet at the end of your tv. Those should be clearer in relation on how TVs with middle and end legs will look on this stand. I wish it was available with a sloping back to slide into corners, but with a straight front to better support legged TVs. I had to return the item because although online measurements showed it worked - in reality it barely works and it's not worth risking your $1000+ TV falling off this stand because the leg placement didn't help Top design works.
