Now you know that $250 isn't going to get you a quality piece of furniture, but this piece is pretty sad. The "wooden" trim was torn off the number sticker on it, the black around the doors looked like it was metal or something, but it's a very cheap paper material and looks like it will peel off soon . Whilst this is a nice unit and I would like it to work, the website says it will fit TVs up to 55". I do not recommend using this device for a 55 inch TV. I think up to 48" would be fine, but due to the design of the product, a 55" TV could easily fall off this stand.
