This is the best watercolor paper. It's worth every penny. Removing the pages from the block isn't difficult if you have a good metal spatula with a sufficiently sharp blade. This paper can endure a lot of water and washing. This was my first experience with the pad and I liked it, but have since bought a different paper, still very good quality, and after a few washes the paper came off the pad. This is the best. I will never buy any other watercolor paper again. This is a trademark. Check the prices. I've found better deals at some of the major online art supply stores. Depending on the day. I would not recommend it for beginners due to the cost and the fact that this paper is intended for work that you will want to frame once completed. And you'll appreciate it a lot more when you're ready.
