Perfect! best arts, paints and crafts supplies

I love Arches paper and especially their watercolor pads. They are in fact sealed on all sides (except for the little ones where you insert a spatula to separate the sides). I've used other blocks that separated immediately and it was annoying; I buy blocks for a reason and if they separate before you use them you can buy separate sheets too. The paper has a consistent even "tooth" and holds watercolors perfectly and also gives you time to work with the paint as needed for blending/blobbing…

Get good things.

Arches Watercolor is a great paper. The block format avoids touching unevenness of the paper surface both in the factory and in the shop. Greasy fingers will stain the watercolor. The chemical treatment to slow absorption is IN the paper, not ON the paper, and it's a cotton swab, not pulp. If you want to enjoy watercolor painting, THIS is the product for you. Is it expensive. But if you buy cheap things, you may lose interest in drawing altogether.

The best watercolor paper!

Watercolor paper doesn't get any better than sheets. This is the highest quality paper I have ever used and I don't need any other brand. Cold-pressed paper is uneven compared to hot-pressed paper and produces more muted ink tones. I like to use this for darker subjects. Drawing with Micron pencils and pens is still very easy. I also like to use water soluble sketching pencils with this paper. This paper is definitely more expensive than the paper I started with in the big notebook from the…

Bows are the BEST.

This is the best watercolor paper. It's worth every penny. Removing the pages from the block isn't difficult if you have a good metal spatula with a sufficiently sharp blade. This paper can endure a lot of water and washing. This was my first experience with the pad and I liked it, but have since bought a different paper, still very good quality, and after a few washes the paper came off the pad. This is the best. I will never buy any other watercolor paper again. This is a trademark. Check the

The quality of their blocks has gone down

I have been using these black watercolors for many years now. There was a time when it was sometimes difficult to get the sheet off the block and you had to be careful or it could tear and ruin your painting, but for the most part they are great. But I've had issues with blocks I've bought in the last 2 or 3 years and it's really disappointing. Leaves come out of the block. The black rubber around the edges isn't thick or strong enough to hold them. Sometimes almost the whole pad of paper comes
