I haven't had this device long enough to write a detailed review. I only use it in the car to replace my new phone with a USB-C Lightning cable. I didn't try to compare the time it takes to charge the device versus in-car wireless charging. He is small and unobtrusive. I showed it to a car dealer when I was considering replacing the car's USB port with USB-C. They were impressed and felt that unless that converter started to malfunction, it might not be worth the expense of replacing the car's USB port with a USB-C. For me, the low price of this adapter is worth it.
