thought these blades felt like "toy " blades

Upon opening the box, I was a bit disappointed with the thickness and design of the blades. The blades were like giant saw blades. Stamped thin metal to bend the teeth in different directions to make notches. I installed a 3/8" blade on my saw and replaced the thicker, stronger original blade. The saw blade cuts through thinner materials (insert 1/4" Luan plywood here) with ease and draws a good line. I've used it to cut 3/4" and 1" thick pine boards, it did relatively well too works; it had difficulty cutting through the hard growth rings. The problem was that I used it 4 times to cut 3" thick hardwood. The first cut was correct with a slight deviation, the second cut was slightly curved; like this also the third. When I tried to make a cut on the court the blade had stretched and when it hit hard wood on a clump of hard fibers it just bent and lost its shape. Now I'm becoming blades of thicker Buying stuff from my local hardware store, I want to see and feel the design before I buy. I had to pay attention to my inner feelings when I first opened the package; I thought these blades felt like "toys." eug" blades, something to use on a low powered toy band saw used to cut softwood.
