I bought this stand for an old model LCD TV that weighed 80 pounds. I read other people's reviews and bought on their advice. When I received the product I took all the parts out of the box and assembled the stand using the diagram. At first it didn't seem like much. When I attached it to the back of the TV with the included screws (which was a bonus) it was apparent that it was just a very simple but solid stand that held up this heavy TV fairly adequately and didn't distract from the surroundings. The stand was discreet and unobtrusive. My only issue with adjusting the position of the unit (TV and stand) on the platform it sits on was the slight bend in the legs. It was decided that this was not a problem. I'm glad I found the stand and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if the need arises in the future.
