Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Capture Crisp Audio with the Sony ICDTX50 Digital Flash Voice Recorder by Jared Poinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the size, the sound is good.

During the development of the book idea I recorded more than 30 hours of chatter. I like the size of this item. I wear it on the collar of my t-shirt when I go about my business. It only gets in the way if it's on the wrong side when the car's seatbelt wants to share the space, so I just turn it the opposite way. On-device editing/previewing is less convenient, but I use my computer for almost everything and that's fine. I saw this while reading other reviews here on Revain. I don't micromanage my records so this is not a problem for me. If you want to keep your ideas/memories separate you can easily create a set of separate files by simply stopping and restarting the burning process and new files will be generated each time. It's convenient to only rename files off-device unless the few categories available suit your organizational needs. I like the choice of format/quality of the generated files. This is useful when you need to balance space/time/quality. Sounds better if you put it in a carrying case while playing. As for the built in battery limit - I checked the internet and learned that the best lifespan should be obtained by charging this type of battery as often as possible, as opposed to OLD batteries which required deep cycling. It can gain many times more life if you don't let it charge to half the charge.
