I have 3 sets of branded skidguards on other bikes to compare. Moose and Barkbuster. These are very good copies, cheaper plastic, cheaper metal and fittings, but several times cheaper. The fit is somewhat rough and unfinished. A few minutes with a file and countersink and I was happy with the fit. These are fakes so I wasn't expecting perfection or top notch Metal. Metal main guardrails feel and look light like cast metal, not bent extruded aluminum like branded blocks, so durability is unknown. They should work fine in anticipation of hard hits. They are installed on a Honda XR650L with a Protaper Contour Windham RM Mid handlebar. My last set of Barkbuster Storm face shields for the DL1000ADV was $130. Update: Bike tipped over in deep sand, everything seems fine. Later that day, while making a sharp U-turn at a dead end on a sandy road, I hit a large rock at almost full speed, lost my balance and tipped over. They flexed so much that I couldn't squeeze the clutch anymore. I had to take it off and bend it back to shape it. He was pretty disfigured. I will replace them with blocks of well-known brands. These are the only units I have ever bent.
