I bought it and about a week later the price dropped. I contacted the seller and instead of returning it the same day at a lower price, the seller agreed to refund the difference. I think the seller is unfortunately also in strong competition with other sellers who have the same product. I agreed during the conversation to give feedback when I asked for a difference. The seller seems a bit pushy, so I'll leave this review. First of all I have to tell you what you need, at least if you decide to buy this get what are called compression nuts. You can buy them at Napa stores (all other auto stores only sell them in a multipack, and you only get two in this pack) across the country. You get more than you need, but six bucks is enough for you if you mess up. The compression nuts are the "washers" that actually hold the bracket to the spare wheel carrier. Without it, you'll have trouble holding the mount unless you choose to leave the spare tire in place at all times. Sometimes this is not desirable. The wheel nuts require little force to press the bolts on the spare wheel carrier. If you can just slide them on enough to lift a thread or two, you can take the lug nuts and use the lug nuts to thread the compression nuts all the way in, thus securing the bracket that holds the camera. . What really worries me is that you believe that the seller or any other seller will be able to add at least three of these with every purchase. They're literally pennies on the dollar, especially if you buy a pack, like in Napa where you can get 50 packs for about $6. Second, another bad news - the wiring is definitely cheap. I'm a little doubtful how long this will really go on. Not to mention I don't know how well it will stand up to the northeast Ohio weather. I genuinely believe that a little more effort could have been put into making a better product, in addition to making longer cables in general, particularly from the camera itself to the connection cable that powers it. In addition, the wire gauge seems to be relatively thin. Overall the camera works as intended and I am currently using it on a Pioneer aftermarket stereo that sits on the dash of my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. If you don't already know, you'll also need to make sure your stereo has emergency brake wiring if you want the backup camera to work as it should. Some people don't know this, and I think they're really bad at camera, especially when the stereo isn't tuned properly. The connection to the emergency brake actually sends a signal to the aftermarket stereo giving it permission to access the camera. You can bypass this process, but that's another story. Coming back to the camera itself. Again, the image quality is pretty darn good, especially in daylight, as you can see in the camera's full color spectrum. It seems to work pretty well at night, but I've also invested in some pretty decent LED lights for the back of the Jeep. So when I turn it on backwards, it lights up with a lot of things. Your mileage may vary. Initially, when I first set up the camera, the screen quickly became a little blurry as it adjusted to the camera itself. For me it was more of a tension problem. I actually plugged the camera into the cigarette lighter on the dash as a power source. The power is not constant and only turns on when the key is turned. However, from the first two uses, I don't see the crash as quick as I used to.
