A few weeks ago thanks to reviews from reviews I bought a similar more expensive brand. I use this type of rack to stabilize my bike when hitching a bike trailer to take my grandkids. I'm an old roadie so tripping is not allowed. Got one today and compared. One stays in my truck, the other stays with the trailer. No noticeable difference in form or function. Or stabilize my bike while attaching a trailer. weighs the same. The same tension is created by a spring. But it costs 50% less. Maybe, just maybe, the plastic stop wheel is a little less finished, but it's hard to tell. I doubt any rack will carry a 50+ pound e-bike on anything but flat ground. But it works fine for my 23-pound titanium road bike.
