This is a set of 2 covers for VGA connectors. I've tried female-to-female plugs. Each is a simple two-sided piece with a female VGA connector on either side. This item allows you to join 2 standard VGA cables together to get one long cable. Knurled sockets are located on both sides of each piece for a secure connection. The forks were made in China. I think these connectors are great for extending my VGA cables. I have several VGA cables but none of them are long enough to connect to the monitor I want to use it on. I plugged one of these connectors into one end of the cable, plugged the other cable into the other end of the connector, and that's it - a long VGA out so my desktop computer is in one place and I'm looking across the room from an old monitor . Overall, these plugs are easy to use and very handy for connecting older devices.
