Review on 3M Privacy Filters Filter Screen Laptop Accessories by Jason Man
Not overly impressed
I had the 3M Vicuity privacy filter on my non-touch ThinkPad 8 years ago and loved it. The new gold I received is much more disappointing. 1) At first the old one felt like a fairly thick and strong plastic, the new one is more like a thin film 2) The attachment system has changed - now it's just double. double sided tape which means you can quickly remove the screen if needed and then put it back in afterwards 3) The viewing angle has also increased significantly, I can easily see my screen when sitting next to the person using the laptop which"Privacy" means "will be disputed." Although the touchscreen works well, the rest is disappointing
